With referance to the Hote Yo 205 addressed by

Er Hohlar to Señor Calero on the 4th of December last, res-

pecting the claim of the Thina Comercial Steamship Compa-

ny against the Nexiom Government, I have the honour to in-

form Your cellency that I have received a letter from Ur

Wong Kwong Chung, of that Company, enclosing a translation

of a communication from the Ministry of Communications and

Public Works, dated the let instant, to the effect that the

concession granted to the Company would be cancelled unless

it complied with the terms of its contract within fi.teen

days.

In replying to thie comunication Er Wong Kwong

Chung has pointed out to the minister of Publie "orks that

the Hexican Government on ite eide had not complied with

the stipulatione of the contret, that the claims of the

Company had not been settled, and that he had already ex-

plained
